This charity is about children, and how they feel on their first day of school.  So when Miss Mascarenhas asked her Grade one class at St. Joseph School in Cambridge to create a painting showing how they would feel the day they started Grade two, little did they know they would be showcased as the faces of Send ‘em Off Smiling!

We are a children’s organization and we think that our story – of happiness, of hope, and possibility – is best told by children.  Thank you to Miss Mascarenhas and her Grade one class for so effectively capturing that story through their amazing art work.
