At Send’em Off Smiling, we are committed to providing brand new clothing, school supplies and shoes to needy children in the Waterloo Region in a manner that fosters trust and confidence among our clients, sponsors, donors and volunteers. That commitment includes protecting the privacy of all the personal information in our care. Therefore, we have established this Statement of Privacy Principles to govern how we collect, use, retain and disclose personal information. • We collect personal information in compliance with applicable laws and ethical business practices, in order to provide aid to the needy children in our region and to gain support from within our community. We limit the information we collect to that which is necessary for, or related to, these purposes.

For example, subject to those limitations, we may share personal information regarding our clients with our board members, volunteers or with other organizations to provide our services or to ensure our services are not duplicated by another organization. .

• We will keep your personal information only as long as needed to satisfy the purposes for which it was collected or as required or permitted by law.
