EVENTS VOLUNTEER

Each year, Send'em Off Smiling recognizes its many sponsors and volunteers with special events. Last year, our "Thanks for the Smiles" event for our corporate sponsors and media partners was held at the new Waterloo Regional Children's Museum, and consisted of an informal open house reception with a guest speaker and short video loop.Volunteers can help to organize the event, coordinate refreshments, prepare presentation and sound systems. Board member responsibility: Volunteer Director, Corporate Giving.

Individual sponsors and volunteers are also recognized at an event. Last year, Galaxy Cinemas hosted a special showing of a family film for these important SOS supporters.
